Question - What do the acronyms FSNE and TRG stand for?
FSNE = Full Stack Network Engineer
TRG = Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee 

Question - What's the difference between the Zero to Engineer program and the Full Stack Network Engineer Tech Degree program?

At NexGenT, we have re-branded our previous course offerings.
Zero To Engineer is now an umbrella term, which includes our different tech degrees. The Full Stack Network Engineer Tech Degree program is the first and one of many tech degrees in the Zero To Engineer bundle of degrees.

Question - Is there a difference between the Full Stack Network Engineer Tech Degree program and the Full Stack Network Engineer Tech Degree program with Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee?

The main difference between the two offerings is the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee, which includes (but is not limited to) cost, requirements, terms/conditions, accountability, and group coaching. 

Question - What is considered the first day of my 365-day enrollment period? 

The start date of your FSNE Tech Degree program cohort is the first day of your 365-day enrollment period.

Question - What type of positions are included in the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee? 

Paying technical jobs in the information technology industry including full-time, part-time, contract-to-hire, contractor, and internship positions. Please note that students should expect to attain jobs that are aligned with their individual qualifications. 

Question - How long will it take to get a job with the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee?

Students will obtain a paying technical job in the information technology industry within 1 year of beginning the FSNE Tech Degree program w/TRG given all coursework requirements are met. It will take students up to 6 months to complete the FSNE Tech Degree program and required certifications (Phase 1 & 2). Timings in-terms of students completing the Land Your Dream IT Job course and getting a job (Phase 3) will vary between 1-6 months after completing the degree. 

Question - What are the Phases in the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee and how many do I have to complete? 

Students are required to complete all 3 phases of the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee and have all the requirements met as listed on the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee Terms & Conditions. The 3 Phases are broken down as follows:
Phase 1: Complete the Full Stack Network Engineer Tech Degree
Phase 2: Earn the CompTIA Network+ certification (mandatory) and the CCNA Routing & Switching certification (mandatory).
Phase 3: Land Your Dream IT Job course (mandatory) and Job hunting 

Question - What if I'm behind and can't complete Phase 1 in 90 days or Phase 2 in 95 days? 

Failure to meet the time deadlines as outlined in the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee Terms and Conditions will void the guarantee. 

Question - What if I can't complete the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee requirements within the 365 day limit?

Failure to meet time deadlines and requirements as outlined in the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee Terms and Conditions will void the guarantee. 

Question - What happens if I get a job during Phase 1 or 2 of the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee period? 

The Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee is concluded once a student lands a job, regardless of what phase the student may be in. Students are still responsible for remaining payments on their individual accounts. 

Question - Am I eligible for a refund if I complete all 3 phases of the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee and am still unable to find a job? 

If you are unable to obtain a technical job after completing all 3 phases of the FSNE-TRG and the 180-day job hunting period within 365 days from your enrollment date, then you may be eligible for a full tuition reimbursement. Please note that all requirements must be met as outlined in the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee Terms and Conditions to be considered for a Tuition Reimbursement. 

Question - When can I request a Tuition Reimbursement? 

You must explicitly request your reimbursement within 30 calendar days after the 365th (last) day of your enrollment. Failure to provide timely notice will void the guarantee.

Question - How can I request a Tuition Reimbursement? 

To request a tuition reimbursement, complete the Tuition Reimbursement Student Checklist and send it to careerservices@nexgent.com. Your request will be evaluated based on the requirements for tuition reimbursement eligibility as noted in the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee Terms and Conditions. 

Question - NexGenT Career Services denied my Tuition Reimbursement request, what now?

NexGenT Career Services shall  have  the  sole discretion  to determine  whether  the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee Terms & Conditions have been  satisfied and whether  you  are eligible  for  a refund  of  your tuition. All decisions made by NexGenT Career Services are final and no appeals will be considered. 

Question - Do I have to purchase or attend the Full Stack Network Associate (FSNA) bootcamp?

While we highly suggest attending the FSNA Bootcamp to gain valuable real world hands-on experience; FSNA bootcamp purchase/attendance is not required for the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee or to be eligible for tuition reimbursement.

Question - What certifications do I have to earn during Phase 2 of the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee?

Students must earn their CompTIA Network+ and CCNA Routing & Switching certifications to successfully complete Phase 2 of the FSNE Tech Degree program w/TRG.

Question - Will resources be provided to help me earn my CompTIA Network+ or CCNA Routing & Switching certification?

Upon successful completion of Phase 1, students will unlock the CompTIA Network+ and CCNA Routing & Switching exam prep courses from within our learning platform (learn.nexgent.com).

Question - Is the cost of taking the CompTIA Network+ or CCNA Routing & Switching exam included in my tuition?
Examination costs are not included in the student's tuition. Students are responsible for all expenses related to taking the certification exams. 

Question - I already earned the CompTIA Network+ and CCNA Routing & Switching certifications. Are there any other technical networking related certifications I can pursue during Phase 2 of the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee?

Question - I am not a U.S. Citizen, am I still eligible for the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee? 

You  must  be  eligible  to  legally  work  in  the  United  States  for  at least  18  months following  graduation  from  the  program.  At  the time  of  admission  to  the program, if you  are  on  a  status  where work  authorization  expires  (e.g.  H­1B,  OPT  etc),  the expiration must  be  at  least  two  and a half years  after  the  program  start date.

Question - I'm going through a serious personal medical circumstance and enrolled in the FSNE program with TRG, what can I do?

You may request to pause the FSNE program with TRG for up to 180 days due to an extraordinary medical condition such as a serious illness or injury that specifically prevents you from being able to perform course work and activities. A formal request must be submitted to careerservices@nexgent.com. Thorough medical documentation is required to prove the medical condition exists and that it prevents you from performing the course work and program activities. Supporting documentation from an authorized care provider (Hospital, Doctor, or Physician) must be provided. Proof of estimated recovery time is also required if a pause of 30 days or more is requested.

Question - Can I pause or delay any phase of the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee?

Other than serious personal medical circumstances (details outlined in the Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee Terms & Conditions), there are no other circumstances in which the FSNE program with TRG coursework may be paused.

Question - Does NexGenT have a list of employers that I can interview with during Phase 3 of the FSNE program with TRG?

NexGenT is actively working on strategic partnerships to build an entire employer network. Students in our program will be able to tap into unfilled jobs in the employer network once the network has been established. 

Question - What else is included in my purchase of the Full Stack Network Engineer tech degree with Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee?

Students will periodically unlock and have access to the following:
1.)  CompTIA Network+ course taught by Jacob Hess
2.) CCNA Routing & Switching course taught by Jacob Hess
3.) 1 year access to Practice Labs
4.) Land Your Dream IT Job course taught by Terry Kim
5.) Group coaching and mentorship from Terry Kim and Jacob Hess

Question - Since I unlock 1 year access to Practice labs after completing Phase 1 (3 months into the FSNE program with TRG), will I still be able to access Practice Labs after Phase 3 is complete?

Students will be given an appropriate access extension to Practice Labs past Phase 3 to accommodate for the 1 year stated Practice Labs access. 

Question - I'm already an engineer and hold professional level or higher certifications. Is this Full Stack Network Engineer program with Tuition Reimbursement Guarantee right for me?
