What is the Employer Network?

The NexGenT Employer Network is comprised of leading enterprise employers from the private and public sectors, as well as recruitment firms that specialize in IT and Cybersecurity.

NexGenT students that qualify are invited to register for the Employer Network and once registered, their resumes are then shared with employers and recruitment firms that are currently hiring.

How do I qualify for the Employer Network?

To qualify for the Employer Network, you must complete your Career Milestones, including having an IT-focused resume (that is approved by a NexGenT career coach) and completing a practice IT interview.

What happens once I qualify? How do I register?

Once you qualify, you will receive an invitation to register for the Employer Network.

Upon completing the registration, our recruitment specialists will then share your resume with relevant employers and email you once an employer expresses interest in your resume.

Where is my resume shared? To which employers? Which positions?

Your resume will be shared with some of the leading enterprise employers and recruitment firms specializing in IT and Cybersecurity.

We do not disclose the name of the employers nor specifics regarding the position until an employer expresses interest in your resume.

Once an employer expresses interest in your resume, your career coach or a NexGenT recruitment specialist will reach out with details regarding the next steps.

When will I hear back after applying to the employer network?

You will only be alerted if/when an employer expresses interest in your resume.

We will do our best to provide you with timely feedback, but due to the volume of candidates and employers in the network, we cannot guarantee a response unless an employer specifically expresses interest in your resume.

Once an employer expresses interest in your resume, your career coach or a NexGenT recruitment specialist will reach out with details regarding the next steps.

Should I continue with my personal job search after applying to the employer network?

Yes. There is no guarantee that you will be hired from the Employer Network. This service is meant to be a supplemental effort, in addition to your personal job search.
